Forgiveness Is a Gift We Give Ourselves

All forms of forgiveness help us create better lives. However, we in Unity have an opportunity to forgive more deeply. We call it “transformational forgiveness” because it’s based on knowing ourselves as divine beings.

Rev. Phil has been a Unity minister for 49 years and is a Certified Transitional Ministry Specialist with Unity Worldwide Ministries. In his “regular” ministerial career, he has served Unity ministries in several states, and was the founder of two of them – Windward Unity Church in Hawaii and Unity of Clear Lake in Houston, TX.

Rev. Phil and his wife, Lura, also founded Theophilus (Thee ahf’ ill us) Divinity School in Minneapolis, a 3-year course in deep personal transformation which they led for 13 years. He is the author of the prosperity book Real Wealth, and also of the My Next Step cards, a self-guided study in personal transformation. Rev. Phil has served as a Transition Specialist in Santa Barbara, CA, Oak Park, IL, Eau Claire, WI, Hartford, CT, Tulsa, OK, and several Unity ministries in Minnesota, where he and his wife, Lura, live. He is currently the Minister of Record for Unity of Santa Barbara, CA.
