Previously, Pastor Lee talked about how he understood baseball as a metaphor for life. With the end of the season and the World Series approaching, now is a good time to again “play” with the metaphor.

In the Old Testament, Moses comes close to the Promised Land. From a mountain, he gets a view. But, he doesn’t cross over. It’s like he finished, six games back, just out of first place.  Reading: Deuteronomy 34.1-4

Pastor Lee has served as a United Methodist pastor, primarily in the Kansas City area, where he and his husband, David, owned and operated a bed and breakfast in one of the city’s entertainment districts.
Last year, Pastor Lee served as pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church of Key West. This is another one of those “things” he counts as a blessing, as is the opportunity to share with Unity Key West!
Pastor Lee is a midwestern kind of person, but the island of Key West warms his soul.
