The Prayer for Protection

“The Prayer for Protection” first appeared as a four-line prayer in 1941, written by Unity’s poet laureate, James Dillet Freeman.

In 1969, Col. Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin carried this poem to the moon on Apollo 11.
