Through a funny true story, Juan shares how a simple pause can turn irritation into connection, and why peace is not a place we go to, but a place we return to.

Juan Benitez believes the most powerful thing we can do is stop performing and start showing up. A Key West resident of more than 14 years, originally from Argentina, he has built his life on curiosity over judgment and connection over ego.  Juan is a real estate agent, TEDx speaker, board member of several local nonprofits, and mentor with Take Stock in Children. Over the years, he has helped raise more than $120,000 for local charities. He shares his home with his husband, John, and his talk, What If You Paused? invites us all to slow down and come back to what matters.
