We are each beautiful, unique, complex combinations of Human and Divine. And we are in the midst of an intense and ongoing human condition, known as the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. We gather this Sunday to continue the process of our individual and collective healing, acknowledging where we have been, where we are and where we are going. We rise up to meet each challenge to the best of our ability, doing what is ours to do, and doing our best at whatever that might be.

We remember also to be gentle with ourselves. Much has been endured. As much as we acknowledge the tremendous spiritual powers within each one of us, our human self needs rest. Let Sunday be a part of this rest and peace as we continue to hold one another in love.
